Within a week, I've lost Abit BH6 and a MSI K7T Turbo, now I have a P3 700@933 and Duron 1100 just gathering dust and not grinding work units 🙁🙁🙁

Anyway if anyone happens to have two suitable boards, I'd be more than interested. The shipping cost to here is $23 so not much point sending just one board.. 🙁

The BH6 seemed like blown caps or something, I've heard they don't well with higher clocked p3's at 133MHz FSB..

Anyway I forgot to mention that I can pay with paypal only if some kind soul shows up with boards 🙂

My BH6 is still chugging along, I did lose a ZM6 which prompted the IT7 purchase, after which I repaired the ZM6... Strange how that works 😉 There were, I believe, 8 bad caps on that ZM6, replaced them and booted right back up and been in service since.

What is up with the MSI boards? I had my Pro2A go bad on me last month! It was not even a year old. But I replaced it with an Epox 8k7a and has been rock solid! Sorry to hear about your bad luck man!

Yeah, odd one that.. It's hard to find suitable cheap mobos, I even tried looking 'refurbished' ones since I don't really care if the IDE works of if serial is fried as they are pure crack nodes, but no luck.

There was a known issue with the MSI K7T Pro 2 & 2A. I had one fail on me just over a year ago, and I've got a friend who is still running his to this day. They did replace it with a different motherboard that won't overclock at all for free. Sure hope the K7T266 Pro2 & K7T266 Pro2 RU I bought don't suffer the same problems.

Calling Postman!!! I have an Abit BH6 for ya - along with a P2/233 proc! My sister upgraded, alas there is no room for more pcs, I will kindly donate it to you. 🙂

Please PM me when you get a chance.

I lost a MSI K7T Pro2a at about 13 months. Capacitor ruptured. Got very unstable for about a week, then just quit.
Replaced it with a similar ASUS and I hope it lasts a little longer. I may replace it anyway with something faster.

Also had a friend lose his BH6. I thought he would cry, he loved the board so much. Stupid capacitors. The ones on most boards are so cheap, its a wonder more don't fail.

My Tyan Tigers are still running strong, though. Almost three years of 24/7 overclocked stability.
