*sigh* I get so much enjoyment out of it,
but it takes too much of my time to get a decent amount of enjoyment.

So, as "lifer status" is only slightly closer than "summer vacation" (ahhh, the 2nd greatest reward for teaching), shall I abandon lifer status in order to facilitate a more meaningful existence? Or shall I continue reading garbage thread after garbage thread, searching for the elusive snipet of entertainment or useful chunk of insightful knowledge?

why not? does he really hate this place so much? And i was wondering about that infamous post... did he take a lot of time thinkig it up... getting closer and closer to lifer just to post that? or was it a spur of the moment thing?

I had been considering going out, somewhat in MacBaine style, however, I'm never that mean. Plus, there are quite a few of you whose opinions on topics I have thoroughly enjoyed over the years (all but a couple of whom are > 25 years old (those <25 probably know who you are as well) so it probably doesn't apply to most of you. :p And, there have been quite a few people who I've changed my opinion about; generally from negative to positive. I wish you all the best.
