Im not so vain as to announce that I am leaving...

But a rumour is going around work that they are stepping up enforcement of the internet policy which forbids distribution of jpgs, mpgs etc and, of course, visiting non-business related websites. I am not a big e-mail abuse by an means, but I got to be a Golden Member here pretty quick. Obviously I am spending time at a non-business related website...

I guess I will have to become a late night visitor only...

That is, of course, unless one of you brilliant techno-seers know a way to anonymously bypass a firewall?

If I ever get off my ass and install the Vantec HSF I met get my CPU to 1Ghz before the hot weather comes and forces me to lower the clock speed (very hot where I live &amp; no AC).
 
Where I work is set up the same way. However, the firewall doesn't prevent me from visiting AT because a lot of our techies visit the different forums to get computer &quot;work related&quot; information. 🙂
 
Thanks. The problem with that is that the company will still know that I spend a lot of time on the internet only now they will not know what sites I am visiting. This is possibly an excuse for the to accuse me of visiting worse sites than ATOT - like whitehouse.com or whatever...
 
There are other things to do than visit the web. You could go to school part time or join a cert program. You could read a great novel...

The possibilities are endless.
