To add fuel to the fire of the Fan boy debate:

Check out the latest build of Farcry - Predator for the xbox 360 and compare it to one of the current gen pc's best games (Farcry) on max settings.

the xbox 360 seems to be the real deal as developers learn how to use the gpu and cores and graphic libraries.

That water does look absolutely FANTASTIC.

I have to say, the first games out for the xbox were not impressive in the slightest bit, but if fight night and this are indications of what the system is actually capable of, then good things are coming.
 
COD2 on the xbox360 looks like ass. Textures are all blocky and whacked.

cod 2 on the pc sorta looks odd too. its their normal mapping or whatever. esp on the clothing

true, when i first played farcry a few months ago on pc, i was amazed with its graphics
 
i dunno about you guys, but i think Crysis will be the actual comparison to this game, not far cry. at least graphically
 
Far cry at 1024x720 runs at like 300 fps on my pc with max settings not to mention it's a really old game now. The Xbox game is entirely different. It's like comparing HL 1 to doom 3.

Also, when you consider the Xbox 360 is limited to 1024x720 for its max res then it's not really that impressive. Especially when you factor in the low levels of antialiasing and, in most games, total lack of anisotropic filtering.
