Settings all @max detail, no AASF no anisosstuff.

1024 x 768 = 60fps
1280 x 1024 = 59fps
1600 x 1200 = 56fps


I gues my CPU is holiding the fps in the lower resolutions back.

I don't see whats so wrong it has AA on and its only a 9800 Pro

I have a slower card plus I'm running higher detail levels but I'm still doubling his score. If it's not a system issue then it must be his processor.

Well,
I am running off the older I845 chipset, which doesn't even officially support 200 Mhz fsb. Also, I just have a single channel memory.

Never mind, I am an idiot...
My Direct3D settings in Catalyst were all turned on to High Quality, ie:
Texture Preference: High Quality
Mipmap Detail Level: High Quality
Check your Direct3D settings for overkill
Turning them down a bit from "High Quality" to "Quality" would improve my scores by 15 fps...

That's better. AA appears to be a real killer in that game.

My Direct3D settings in Catalyst were all turned on to High Quality, ie:

You shouldn't need to do that. Put them back to high quality but turn off vsync and Truform. Also use 16x performance AF.

I don't think so with this one because it loads a map from the game. That is unless the map is part of the demo. Check for the map mentioned in the instructions (think it's pier) or else just give it a try.

This one is running close to mine, but mines at 1280x1024.

I'm going to run this again on Wednesday (upgraded ram) and will see if that helps.
