Farcry 2 worth 15 bucks?

Over at steam they have a sale today, 15 dollars for Farcry2 game. Most people said the storyline sucked but I wonder if 15 dollars is worth it just to see the graphics and game play...
 
Considering you get get the actual game for about that price in most places and not just the download I suggest you do that.
 
I didn't like the game very much but I guess $15 is okay. It's selling in stores where I stay for around $20.
 
As others have said, it may be more worthwhile to have a physical copy, but I actually somewhat enjoyed the game. The only issue I had with it was the respawning enemies; other than that, I'd probably give it about a B.
 
It's an ok game - definitely worth spending $15.00 to see what it's like. But if you think you can better use the $15.00 on something else - I'd spend it elsewhere. 🙂

I am smarter then that, I would get the generic brand or try ebay.
 
The editor can be fun if you know your way around it (it's relatively easy though). The rest, meaning the game itself and its multi-player mode, in my opinion, isn't worth $15. Maybe $5, maybe.

Think GTA wannabe in the middle of Africa with idiot AI, respawning enemies, and not as much fun.

C'mon, don't rain on his parade. Let people enjoy getting things right away for higher cost if they want (even though he regretted it) - if people don't, we won't have the games.

Games need a certain amount to be developed, and the money comes from a combination of people hwo pay more early and pay less later.

The fewer who buy early, the lower the budgets.

Because I buy so many games, most of them unplayed, I shop for bargains though.
 

I'll sell or trade my sealed retail edition of FC2 for World at War if anyone's interested. Lets exchange our free games. Never miss an opportunity to pimp out your FS/FT stuff..............I did not like this game that much but it is pretty and I'd see how some can like it.
