Wow, I notice that in this review,
The 4870 X2 absolutely smoked the GTX 280 in Cryis Ultra High under higher resolution.
I totally wasn't expecting that.

So you didn't expect two of ATi's best GPUs in Crossfire to beat NVIDIA's best single GPU?

You must not have much faith in ATi, I guess. I'd be more surprised if they couldn't personally- ATi has never been that far behind in single GPU tech.

I think someone needs to make better graphs for game reviews :)

I agree that graph is jumbled up with too much data. But if you're going to test min/max/average in 3 resolutions with 4 levels of AA each on 3 cards and put it into one graph, there aren't too many ways to do that.

It would take about 12 individual graphs

It looks like at 8AA and 1920, the 4850x2 is beating the 4870x2...am I reading that right? If I am then huh??!! How is the 4850x2 beating the 4870x2?

That is the first review I have seen that does not complain about the fan noise.

yah both gtx280 & 4850x2 beat it at 1920 8xaa & 1680 8xaa. maybe something to do with FC Ultra textures in GDDR5?

I wasn't expecting that because Crysis always seem to run better on Nvidia hardware.

I personally own a 4870 X2 and I play Crysis on very high @ 1920x1200, so it's actually good news that I have a card that runs Crysis quick.
