I expect it'll make it's debut in the 64bit version of FarCry. A64+6800 series looks to be the combo for this title. Can't remember when I've seen a game come out of nowhere and push the evelope multiple times the way that FarCry is doing. Wether you love the game play or hate it, you have to enjoy what it's doing to help create a more immersive experience in the PC gaming scene right now.

Agree with this- although weren't there 3dNow! games that used latest DX at the time as well? Been so long....so many tasty beers ago........

I wouldnt say the differences in results are very dramatic, theres the margain of error + the fact that the mobos are different, firingsquad also used a 3800+, AT used a 3400+.

Here is where the discrenpency is. Are these benchmarks on set paths? AT couldve simply benchmarked a different area of the map.

On the other hand, ATis scores may be higher in the FS review here beacuse of the higher cpu, and the AT review has higher results from SM3.0 being enabled correctly.

These benchmarks are scripts in the patch.
