A member of the far-right Boogaloo Boys had admitted he traveled from Texas to Minneapolis in the wake of George Floyd’s death and posed as a Black Lives Matter supporter while wreaking havoc on the city. Ivan Harrison Hunter, 24, pleaded guilty Thursday to a single count of rioting. He admitted to firing 13 rounds from an AK-47-style rifle into the 3rd Precinct police station as rioters set the building alight in May 2020. He was then filmed yelling “Justice for Floyd!” Hunter wore a distinctive skull mask during the riot that investigators later matched to a video on his Facebook page.

The Boogaloo movement is an extremist, anti-government, often racist movement that aims to start a second American civil war. Court filings allege Hunter came to Minneapolis with two other Boogaloos and also communicated with Steven Carrillo, a Boogaloo accused of fatally ambushing deputies in California.

It is a fact that a great many of those riots, fires, looting, destruction, thousands of arrests and millions of dollars in damages, that dishonest politicians and media blamed on blm and antifa, were actually caused by right-wing extremists.

No doubt you're absolutely right about that. When conflict goes on that long, the left would be infiltrated by the right, the right by the left and both sides were surely infiltrated by "law enforcement". Just because they're waving your flag doesn't always mean they're on your side.

I'm less interested in these infiltrations, and more interested in blatantly dishonest characters who put all the blame for the violence and destruction entirely on one side even as they cheered on the violence and destruction caused by their side. Even worse is when they deflect any valid criticism of their side's involvement with dishonest cries of victimhood, as you and greenman did earlier in this thread.

I think of those non righties, most weren't lefties either.

They were just taking advantage of the cover of protests and crowds to do dumb shit they could get away with and represented absolutely zero leftist BLM or anti fascist principles.

I bet most of them didn't even vote and probably think Joe Biden and the Democratic party suck.

I'm afraid the entire point of the thread just flew over your head. This isn't about comparing groups and assessing who did more violence. It's about the fact that far right groups did violence while posing as left wing groups. It's about the continuous and ongoing fraud of the American right. Lying about vaccines. Lying about elections. Accusing the left of conspiracies and false flag operations while they're the only one's actually doing it.
