Far Cry

What's the deal with Far Cry? I just got it with my new video card. There is barely no one on the multiplayer, when I join a server it says I have an invalid CD key and I do not cause I double checled and sometimes when i join a server it says this requieres a mod and you might need to relaunch so i say ok and it does nothing. I'm guessing that this game was only good for it's graphics. Although it is fun, the multiplayer isn't any good =(. Maybe I need a patch or something? Can anyone clue me in? Should I reinstall it?

Single player of the game is GREAT!!! multi is horrible. Anyone know when they acutally plan on releasing v1.1? its only been a few months since they released it then pulled it.

You mean v1.2? And as for the multiplayer, no, it's not fun at all. The single is awesome, however.

I don't even know anymore. I meant the version that has the SM3.0 path. I went to thieir site and they did have the 1.1 patch out though.

Funny. I just updated to 1.2 and there's no sign of quicksave. Do I still have to use the console and key in "save_game"?

the 1.3 patch is due soon. I've only tried mutli a few times but got into some good games. Although if I installed punkbuster I'd probably have a lot more to choose from.
