Far Cry PC Game $30 at Best Buy

Starting Sunday, April 4 the PC game Far Cry will be available at Best Buy for $30. Probably online to.
If you know of a place that is cheaper, please post it here, I wouldn't considered that thread crapping.

ya i dont know if i should risk it..my radeon 9800 pro is giving me some horrible graphical glitches with the demo- completly unplayable.
 
Retail game plays fine on my 9700pro, AMD1800+

Seems like many people had less than optimal performance with the demo version.
 
Playing fine at medium detail on my GF4 and XP clocked to 2.2Ghz

Awesome game. Best I've played in a looong time.
 
D@m, I just payed $35 at Sams Club for the CD version. I wanted the DVD one, they gonna be $29 too? Oh well, at least the CD version works just fine with Alcohaol 120%. I'm running 1600x1200 res and all the eye candy (sans aliasing) on my 9800XT, and it runs and looks fantastic! Personally I think they put this game out just to show off it's amazing engine. The only drawback I've come across is the multiplayer feels like it was an after thought, tacked on... Also I keep getting dropped playing online. This seems to happen to a lot of people, even with the 1.1 patch🙁 I really enjoy the single play, though...
 
Picked it up this morning and used the $5 off coupon in the gamer's gift card for a final price of $25. I didn't get far in demo 2 but am enjoying the purchased game so far. Graphics are unbelievable on my P4 2.4GHz, 1Gb DDR3200, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb, Audigy 2 system,. I haven't had any glitches so far.

Issues with ATI cards and newer drivers were fixed since the demo.
 
Wow, great deal. I'm running a 9500 np -> 9700 with Omega drivers and an 1800+, plays just fine. This is hands-down the best game I've played since Half Life... still playing it, and every new level gives me something to shake my head at in awe. Valve should hang their heads in shame for letting this release before HL2!
 
definitely an awesome deal. I have a p4 2.4 640mb DDR2700, 128mb radeon pro.... but even with this i have to run it at 1024x768 to get good framerate with mixed high and medium settings. Would upgrading to 1gig of RAM help?
 
I hope sales are going well, enjoyed the demo alot.. ran a little weird on my gf4mx but thats my fault for having a crap card 🙂
