Far Cry patch 1.4 is out (finally!)

Supposedly the beta HDR+AA patch has not been included in this update as this is mostly a multiplayer update.
 
That sucks if it's true but it explains why it's not mentioned in the readme.

Still, if you have a R5xx card try it out anyway. 🙂
 
I wish there were more support for Far Cry multiplayer cause I like the game but there's just something about the multiplayer that didn't catch for me. Maybe some new maps will spice it up a bit.

Wow, never thought I'd see the day that 1.4 was released - I was sure it was vaporware by this point. I'll try this out at some point to see if HDR+AA works...and I very much hope it does, otherwise IMO the new patch is useless 😛
 
I uninstalled FarCry 3 days ago too. Oh well, don't feel like reinstalling it. The single player was alright but multiplayer was a bit slow (IMHO).

Yeah I though so too. doesn't look like anythign spectacular, cool nonetheless. so what is the new patch order? Retail -> 1.3 -> 1.33 -> 1.4? or can u skip some with the cumulative? any idea if this will work with the 64bit content if it was copied for 32bit OS?

btw where is dug?
 
AFter playing and beating this game three different times using three different video cards, I cant possibly do anything but vomit when a new Far Cry patch is released.
 
Because of engine issues? Yet it works when forcing it? Sounds like when Bethesda said it couldnt be done, then ATi made it happen. There was a lot of funny buisness when Farcry first came out for NV cards to get faster.

Out of all of '04, it was my fav shooter. Even ahead of HL2, and miles ahead of Doom3. I was so sad and suprised when there was no add on. There are a few very, very good mods for it though. I think Ive got 4 copies of the game. Bought it, and got it with three different pieces of hardware.

Don't work @ all. Remember that pre 1.4, HDR didn't work @ all with ATI cards
with 1.4 it does work but not with AA even when forced or even renaming it to Oblivion. Is it BS?

Matto is by far the best mods to me. VERY well done. 2&3 are great, and 4 is almost out.

Why doesnt it work now, it did before. I havent played it in ages, and it worked the last time I tried it. I dont recall the patch, it was a patch cocktail if I remember. Had to do them a certain way to get anything to work.
