I'm trying to run in XP compatability mode as well, but all I see is the splash screen and then black screen and FarCry is taking up about 50MB of memory -but no game!
HELP!

I do understand however, that certain hardware combinations may be problematic. What hardware are you running?

I remember playing Far Cry (well, the demo) in Vista 64-Bit Beta 2, on my X1900XT, so I can't see why it wouldn't work now.

Single X1900XT
That was about a year ago, on the beta 2 OS and beta drivers... so I would have thought everything would be ironed out by now.
