Great game, especially the early levels in the jungle. AI is still the best I've seen in a FPS.

The part where you were on the raft was probably one of the most amazing things I've ever done in a game. Being able to pull into brush, snipe people, adjust your tactics to do anything you wanted...amazing! Felt like a Viet Nam movie 😀

Personally - Wally World sucks, and this wouldn't get me to enter the store.
That said, I got my copy of FarCry as part of a $6 CPU combo buy @ Newegg a while back. Anyone need a K6 something or other OEM CPU? 🙂

that's right, much better to drive around to multiple stores and pay more to accomplish the same thing.

And its even better when all the mom & pop shops that have been around before you were born get shut down because they cant compete with wal marts prices. Effectively monopolizing small areas and focing people to either work for wal mart or work elsewhere.

When your mom & pop shops will have decent prices I'll shop there. Right now in general they are overpriced even compared to other retailers than wallmart. When a sewing machine cost (just an example what my mother bought last year) $250 at mom&pop (and that's with two discounts down from $450), but only $200 at sears, the choice is clear. Not only it's significatly more expensive at mom-and-pop, I also fvsking hate how they have to present it with two $100 discounts just to get into the sears pricerange, that is deceptive practice representing something as more expensive than it really it. It's the same as buying an item at $20 down 80% from $100MSRP from some e-tailer when newegg had it all along at $18 and the real MSRP is only $25, not $100. Fvsk mom and pop.

I do not miss the mom and pop stores. They were overpriced compared to walmart. A few are still around and are on average around 10%-20% higher than walmart on the same items (brand and all) at least around here. My main complaint about walmart is that it has replaced church as being the social event of sunday, what I mean by that is that everyone is in the damn place talking to each other blocking my damn shopping cart!

If walmart would force people to keep moving when they are not looking at items, hire more people to man the check out lines so I would not have to wait 20 minutes to pay, and get rid of all the home and garden crap out of the parking lot where I could actually park close to the building, then I would have no problem with them and would like them even more.

I knew you were from California before looking at your profile. I lived in California for 25 years (and also got my B.S. and M.S. from UCLA), but I really don't understand the issues Californians have with Walmart - idiotic if you ask me.

Thanks to the OP for the hot deal, though. I'll stop by wally world and pick up a copy. Haven't played it yet.
