Far Cry commands/tweaks

Hey!

I am going to be replaying far cry again, I was wondering if there is a way to tweak the cfg file to force the full draw distance and LOD?

I know the in console command, but I would rather not have to apply that at each map load/game launch. Is there a way to add this command to the shortcut or cfg so it remains on?

I basically want to crank up the draw distance and remove or minimize LOD

Bass, I'm pretty sure you can use the configuration utility to do this... in the advanced menu, you get the option to input any value you like for different settings.

Hmm last time I installed it the terrain LOD command was not there.. I'll have to install it and give it a look

Make sure you use the latest patch to enable HDR. That was the most important tweak IMO.

I think this is the HDR + AA Patch which was released. I haven't tried it, maybe I'll give it a shot when I install FC again on my system.

HDR+AA patch is a beta.

1.3 patch is the one that allows SM3.0 and HDR but IMO for Far Cry AA > HDR.. I may try out the beta patch but I don't know.
