I have 1Gb of DDR ram in my system anything less then 512MB these days will be a big performance hit on new games.
Fast write in the bios is tuned on and put the AGP apenditure to 128 or 256 maybe even 512 Plus make sure AGP8x is on.
Overall so long as your system has the latest Chipset drives latest Videocard drivers and the bios is set up for best performance your system should run at its peek!

And It always pays to have the most up to date drivers for your hard ware ....and a CPU over 1.8Ghz for Athlon and over 2.4Ghz for pentium. 😉

You have no problems running the game because you are running it in crippled DX8 mode instead of DX9. It has nothing to do with your RAM, fast writes, bios, etc.

Here that Videoclone? You could take out your memory and flash your bios to the oldest one possible because it has nothing to do with how the game runs. I never knew this.

I dont know what my FPS is but i'm running on 1024x768x32 it runs good but i guess it could be better! i havent tried this on a Geforce FX5900 yet but i am very interested to see how an FX5900 runs this game. Because i used to have one.

I tried running on my rig. I've got a 2500+ @ 2.2 Ghz, 512 MB PC3200, and a Geforce FX 5700 which I had overclocked to 455 Mhz core/620 Mhz mem. I put all the details up but you can tell the game is putting a strain on my system. The in game graphics look beautiful though. I don't know exactly how many fps I'm getting but I'd say at 1024 x 768 @ 32 bit res. I'm getting frame rates around 30-40 or lower. I just ordered a Leadtek Geforce FX 5900 Ultra with 256 MB so as soon as that arrives, I'll pop it in a try it out.
