Far Cry 5

I loved it. Never finished it, but that's because i have 2 kids (1 is special needs) and things just go so crazy I couldn't pick it back up.

About 70% done, and when I would feel like playing Id elect to play Far Cry Arcade instead.

I like all the Far Crys, even Primal. They aren't perfect but I like them more than GTA. I never finish any of those.

You are correct. I LOVE Saints Row. IV was the best super hero game ever.

FarCry 5 is the first one that I really dig. I'm about 60-70% in...maybe more. Playing through it with a friend. It's not perfect but it is a lot of fun. I like Ghost Recon better but FC5 is solid.

This is how I'd rank the main FC games, personally... from best to worst.

FC3, FC5, FC1, FC4, FC2

Each of them have their good and bad points but 2008's entry (FC2) just fell super short for me. It also had to compete for my time with Fallout 3 and Dead Space and well, let's just say that the odds were not tipped in its favor.

I haven't tried Primal, but I've heard that it's just busy work. That's actually okay if it's still fun to play though.

I still need to finish Far Cry 2. I finally beat FC3 and 4 one after the other, but I always get bored about half-way through. I'm waiting to build a new PC before I try Primal and FC5 since I heard the optimization is pretty garbage.

Far Cry 2 is quite unimpressive. And hunting diamonds is such a pain.

I do.. my issue with the game (if you want to call it an issue as it's not a bad game) is that it's the same game just re-skinned. I get to a break point where I've done the same things every year with little change. The story isn't enough to make me want to keep driving the missions on it's own. The 'twist' at the end was meh at best. I think this game is an example of quantity causing people to think quality. There's a ton of side crap to wade through, but most of it's the same crap recycled. I finished it at 100%, but mostly because I didn't have much else going on as I recovered from surgery.

That's how I usually feel about far cry games but I ended up getting this one after not playing the others past #3. It does feel like it's the same game re-skinned and after finishing 5 I remembered why I didn't really like the others. The story could have been better, but overall it was nothing special that would make one come back and play it.

I don't remember it getting any more hype than the previous ones, and it was pretty much just hype right around release like normal. I haven't finished it yet, but it's solid. Not great as there isn't really much new here, but still fun enough for me.

I did. Got it when i went ps4 pro, was packaged in. Play for a couple of hours, looks great, play is very meh. I basically just flew around in a plane that you can find very early in the game. I feel no need to revisit this game.
