Looks real nice. This is an odd series though, other than the Open World(I assume that's still in this game) and Jungle backdrop, there's nothing tying them together.

Hopefully this footage is ingame and not CGI. If it avoids the respawning of FC2, this could be a great game.

I loved the first and never finished the second. It was basically GTA:Jungle Edition. Hopefully the third isn't more of the same, but I'm guessing it will be.

I loved both 1&2, but with 2 I could never get back into replaying it. 2 had a lot of great things about it, but the respawning was horrible.

If they go back to what made the first Farcry awesome, this could be really good.

Yeah, I had that same impression going from 1 to 2, and this is just as big a departure. Guess there's nothing wrong with changing things up.

There's an e3 trailer on there too. Looks promising at least. Not sure I'd get a Ubisoft game though with their horrible drm.

I loved the concept of FarCry2. The execution was a little off, but at least somebody tried to make something different and immersive. The environment, characters, AI behavior, and story I loved.

I'm going to get it, because as a fan of open-world FPS, there are only handful of options, so what are you gonna do?

This trailer was terrible. Maybe it's because I'm not a teenager anymore, but I'm increasingly annoyed at the garbage intended to entertain that demographic. Hey look, I can say f*ck! How about I say f*ck as many times as possible to show how badass I am! Oh, and throw in some crappy dubstep in there for good measure....

I guess it's easier to sell stupid to stupid, though. Who actually needs intelligently written dialog and real character development when you can just say f*ck 50 times a minute?

Bingo. Going to fish where the fish bites is always good for business. With that said, I really liked the definition of insanity FC3 trailer, the game really seems to be more along the veins of the original (with a similar open-ended environment and the jungles and lush vegetation).

It definitely needs a virus alert for consolitis. I might get an Xbox, I don't really want to put that filth on my drive.

It looks like somebody in marketing played fast and loose with the graphics and tried to make a trailer for a Hollywood movie. Not a good sign when they start hyping a game like a movie and showing heavily edited scenes.

*shrug* I thought it was a great trailer, and the music actually fit. Of course it's all pre-rendered cinematics though... not actual game footage. Hopefully they don't pull a Dead Island by revealing an amazing trailer and then releasing a mediocre game.

Too bad it's Ubisoft. I'll still pick it up sometime down the road if it gets decent reviews. Far Cry 2 was pretty, and had great shooting mechanics, but it got way too repetitive and dull. Hopefully they change that with this one. The main villain is actually quite interesting now. The storyline is also more than just "There's this bad guy who's bad. Kill the bad guy."

It is a good trailer, but good for something like an RPG where the plot and characters are much more important. That was the problem with Far Cry 2, great plot, characters, and graphics but wimpy dynamics. Shakespeare with guns and lousy dynamics I can live without.

OK I just saw it in and I thought it was a great trailer. I played and enjoyed FC years back. Never did FC2 because reviews were on the fence.

Unfortunatley yer gonna need at least 2 GTX 660 2GB in SLI or 2 7970s in CFx in order to play it at acceptable framerates.

Loved FC 1, didn't like FC 2 at all. If 3 is like 2 in any way, I will pass.

Far Cry 2 played really smoothly at high settings on my GTS-250. I'll bet that, trailer aside, FC3 will run fine on any 5-series with a gig.

FC2 destroyed the series for me. I wouldn't touch this with YOUR 10 foot pole.

Now that was a great trailer and if that was actual gameplay, I am impressed. Character animation was astounding. Looked like it went smoothly between gameplay and cutscene.
