Isn't FarCry 2 NOT being developed by Crytek? I have extremely low expectations if so.
 
Learn some Dutch mismajor 😉 If you look at the homepage though you see some newsarticles, if you click on them youll find the screenshots or the trailers that have been posted ^^

Ubisoft Montreal is indeed dev'ing this game. But it does look pretty cool, they're licensing Cry Engine 2 I believe.
 
The fire looks absolutely amazing. Does FC2 use the Crysis engine? I haven't really been keeping up on either of these games.

Because EA is publishnig Crysis, and Crytek is no longer working for Ubisoft.

The "Crysis engine" as you call it is Cry Engine 2, and word is yes... FC2 uses it.

lawlz yeah, those far cry ports were terrible. anyone try the wii version, it was atrocious. seriously those ports take away all the brilliance ubi montreal put into the PoP games 🙁

It's Cry Engine 2. I can't show you because I read it in a mag. (PC Gamer)

But yeah, they're using the Crysis engine.
