Anybody picking this up? I'm reading the IGN review, and it sounds awesome as hell, but I'll be damned if I need any more games right now. I'm still active in my NCAA 09 online football dynasty, just got NBA 2K9, picked up Fable II today, and am trying to decide about Far Cry 2, LBP, and then Gears 2 comes out in 2 1/2 weeks.

EDIT2: That's the PC review, but the 360 and PS3 reviews share the same exact text. Their scores may be a tenth of a point off.
 
I'll be giving this a pass till X-mas. It'll definitely be on my list though. I'm just a bit burnt out on shooters atm and need something a bit different.
 
got my copy coming tomorrow. damn gamestop didn't do the release day delivery with this one. but yeah, got the free "limited edition" thing from gamestop.

seems like it should be fun. but yeah, got FO3 next week and GOW2 a little later, and i wanted to pick up dead space as well, but i just can't afford all these games right now.
 
I was considering getting this for PS3 or getting LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet ended up getting much better reviews so I went with that. But I still would like to play thi,s it is a shooter with decent graphics that has a lot of cool extras like destructuable environments, propogating fire, exploding ammunition, has a wound and healing system etc.. I will probably rent it.
 
I wasn't all that interested in this until I saw the map editor. After seeing some of the amazing stuff that can be created with it, I want to at least give it a rental...at some point...in the future...after the other crap ton of games I want to play.
 
I haven't played a new shooter since I tried out Crysis and never made it through the first few parts of the game. I think I'll try this one because I liked the original FC and I want to try something new.
