Far Cry 1.3 Patch Released!

Patch 1.3 change log
* Fixed a crash with the ForkLift when loading some levels.
* Fixed a bug that prevented levels from loading after saving in a previous level.
* Returned surround 5.1 sound option to the menu.
* Fixed a mounted weapon traverse problem.
* Fixed a delay relating to tagging enemies in binocular mode.
* Improved tangent-space calculation to improve bumpmap quality.
* Anisotropic filtering disabled for some textures (light-maps, several lookup textures, fall-off maps) for increased performance. * Improved syncronization in multiplayer.
* Fixed bug in leaning with different player classes.
* Fixed an invisible wall exploit in mp_freighter.

You know, the multiplayer aspect of Far Cry was pretty crappy... Now, I dont really play much of multiplayer at all on PC, but everyone wasnt worried because you can make mods for it... well, where are the dang mods?

The multiplayer was so crap-tastic that no one bothered. A rare occurance of the single-player just completely out-pacing the multiplayer for these times of gaming on the computer.

You'd think that someone would make some sort of fun game... like maybe PIRATES or something..

What happened to the recalled 1.2 patch (sm 3.0)? Is that going to come out in some future update or has it been re-released?

I patched to ver 1.3 and the game still says ver 1.1 ? Sure looks good tho on my re-biosed 6800LE to GT.
