Sweet, you got a sticky 😀

CrawlingEye, good call about Rage3d!

There's also Reactor Critical for leaked Nvidia & ATI drivers, plus all sorts of other pertinent news.

[edit] ALSO, for overclocking Nvidia cards, the "coolbits" nvidia overclocking enabler. This adds an overclocking tab to the Detonator driver settings panel. Should work from 95 up to XP (I have it running in XP and it works great).

I have a question. When you guys use Sandra benches does anyone do anything special? I know some people in 3dmark go nuts and disable their background and kill all threads and stufff like that. I just bench it normaly with out doing any thing like that.

I run Sandra without doing all that, I think the important thing when you're testing is to do it the same way every time. I guess if you're looking for the best scores possible, there's a lot of tweaking you could do...🙂

I can do both 🙂

Start up the Quake demo (after a fresh reboot and all applications exited).
Press ~ to bring down the console.
Type s_initsound 0 and press enter to disable sound
Type sndrestart and press enter for the disabled sound to take effect
Type timedemo 1 and press enter to turn on the time demo
Type demo demo001 to run a time demo on the first of three demos (demo001, demo002, demo003).
When the demo ends, press ~ again to see your score.

Guys,

Don't forget Powerstrip, you can use this utility to overclock all your Radeon video cards. Please add to the top of the list!!! I use it to OC my Radeon 8500DV 😉
