Still hunting my first win but consistency is paying off, in the lead by a nose! Top three places separated by 13 points. Looks like it's going to be a close one all year long.
 
I hate picking drivers for Talladega... it's always a crap shoot whether or not the drivers you choose are going to survive "the big one".

Yep. Those four races are just pure luck with the outcome. Bristol and Martinsville aren't much better.
 
Congrats to Ryan Newman for the pole and win. Too bad I second guessed myself this week and swapped him for Jamie McMurray minutes before the deadline.
 
I didn't gain any spots this week... it seems like almost everybody started Jimmy Johnson like I did 🙂

I have to wonder, though... If Kyle Busch was eligible to win the Nationwide series, how many points would he ahead of the competition this year? Even with the races he missed, he'd likely still be dominating.
 
Does Yahoo Fantasy page suck for anyone besides me during the races? Seems like it never updates, or does so very slowly. Right now it's saying zero laps have been run and we are at 20/90 already.

I only bitch about it because sometimes I'm at work and like to follow the race via the site. Maybe we find another site for our fantasy NASCAR next year?
 
Yeah... the "live" standings updates during the race are worthless.

By the way... anyone who didn't start Marcus Ambrose in this race is on crack. He has an average finish of 2 for this track... that's an AVERAGE finish of 2 🙂

I started him, but he crashed with something like 10 laps to go and finished 31. He was PISSED!
 
ambrose wrecking at the end blew big ones. I'm in a league where you pick ten drivers, had all within the top 15 with a dozen to go, and then that dummy ends up at 31.
 
A little side bet... how many cars is Kyle Busch going to wreck on his way to getting back up to the top 10 in tonight's race? 🙂

I'm thinking 2. There will be some helmet throwing tonight!

Oh... can we please use a different fantasy Nascar site next year? Yahoo's "live" race updates were TERRIBLE! Damn thing was usually 100 laps behind.
