I've been offered a trade that is Steven Jackson for Willis McGahee.

I have steven jackson and he's been killing me and now he's out.

The dude who offered the trade also has L.T. So obviously he's looking to have both of them

The thing is i NEED a trade because with him out, i only have edge and tatum bell as my running backs (i have steve smith and chad johnson and andre johnson as wide recievers)

Thanks!!!

Grant

Steven Jackson was stinking it up before the injury. While it's possible that he will tear it up with a strained knee, I think it's more likely he won't.

I would trade him, but I would look for someone with more value. Willis plays for an offensively challenged team and he might not get a lot of goalline rushes.

This amounts to Willis having very little value.

Try to get better value for Jackson or hold him tight.

N.O.

If you can get more for him, then maybe. But that, jackson for mcgahee straight up? No way.

I disagree with my esteemed colleague deeko.

I have Jackson and the only reason he hasn't tanked my team is that I picked up lamont jordan in the 7th round or so and Tony Romo has been kicking ass. If someone offered me a decent RB now for him I would take it in a heartbeat. I am still kicking myself that somone offerred me Peyton for Jackson straight up and I didn't do it (before week 1).

I don't see St Louis getting much better.

A lot of this depends on your league though. Are you winning? If so, don't do it. We need your whole lineup to determine how much McGahee vs. Bell will help you in the long run.

In the league I checked, McGahee has 36 points, Jackson has 22 points. Now, I'm not saying don't trade him, just that McGahee isn't worth it. It isn't like Jackson has 5 points so far, to Mcgahee's 60. Jackson will improve when he's back from his injury. With all the o-line problem in st louis, will he live up to his #2/3 draft status? Probably not, but I'm confident he'll do better than McGahee.

Jackson has a groin tear, his offensive line is offensive, and bulger has been stinking up the joint. Do the trade.

I'm 2-1

My QB is Tom Brady

I picked up steve smith AND chad johson which rocks, but i also have andre johnson and he's hurt too ( i went heavy wr this year for a change cuz i always do the standard RB heavy thing)

my other rb is edgerrin james. I have tatum bell and chris brown on the bench (worthless, the both of them). Heath miller is my TE.

I'm screwed.

Chris Brown hasn't been TERRIBLE this season.

Why don't you package Jackson and Johnson for a better RB? It'd have to be someone GOOD to make that worth it though.

Post your entire team, and I wouldn't be panicking at 2-1 with brady, edge, smith, and johnson. I didn't vote yet because I need to get a feel for your league and team first.

Jackson has way to much upside to do that... what you see out of McGahee is what you are going to get. I wouldn't do it.
