Suicide Leagues are fun as hell. Anyone interested in doing one for money (via paypal) ?

If there is interest, I can set this up, and we can decide on the dollar amount needed to enter.

Rules are simple:
You pick one team to win their game for that week. If they lose you are out. If you win you move on to the next week, but you can not pick that same team to win a game for any of their remaining regular season games. This same process goes on each week until their is only one person left.
If the regular season is over and there is more than one person left, each person left has a clean slate of teams to choose from and they pick the winner for each week in the playoffs until there is one person left. Tie breaker is the Super Bowl and closest total combined score.
You cannot pick a team during their bye week. If you do, you will be eliminated. If your team happens to tie you will move on to the next round.
If there is a week with Thursday games all picks including weekend games are due THURSDAY 12:00 PM EST. All other picks are due FRIDAY 12:00 PM EST.
If you do not make your pick prior to the game of any given week, you are out.

EDIT: League HAS BEEN SETUP with a $10 buyin to be paypal'ed to "briancutlip@hotmail.com"
Once you paypal the money, I will give you the login instructions.

Game is winner take all.

That's valid, the way I see it is everyone can PayPal me whatever money we decide

I'll keep the money all season and send it to the sole winner at the end of the "last man standing"

I've been around ATOT forever, and should be considered a pretty dependable guy

if you figure out a better way to do it, let me know

I don't think people are into it because theres basically a 50/50 chance you lose all your money week 1. If it were like picking all the games every week sort of like an NCAA basketball tourney bracket thing where you add up your scores at the end it might draw more players. But as it is, I'm sort of interested but if I pick someone who loses week 1 I've basically donated my money away for 1 week of play when I could go spend the same money on a more normal fantasy league where I get at least 17 weeks of play.

I'll do like 5-10 bucks...especially if there are a lot of people involved.

BTW...Yahoo's Football Pickem game thing was fun...I played that last year. It basically works the same way except you choose the winner of EVERY game each week. If there are 18 games played that week...you have a point scale to distribute to each game. One game is worth 18 pts (generally people put these on heavily favored games because you are most likely to win).

Each week all your points are compared with everyone else in the league. If its an elimination league, the person in last place after that week is eliminated. Boo yaaaa....I'm ready for some football baby!

Anyways PM me or something...late

I might be in for $5-$10 if there are a bunch of people in the league. I've heard about these and in the past the winner is usually announced after the 7-8th week b/c most people will be wrong by then. Sounds like fun...sports and gambling:)

Okay, sounds like we got some interest.

I would like to up the ante to $20 a head, but if $10 is all everyone wants to do... that's cool too.

I'll sign up but wanted to get an idea of how many people are going to do this. If there are only like 5 people, I don't think its worth it. 10 or more and it is.

Everyone else post who is signed up or Spooner give us a head count if possible. Thanks dude.

BTW I don't know or care if its legal or not...its just for fun.

If you have trouble finding enough, you can always let some people in for free and eliminate them from actually winning the money - so if someone that didn't pay to get in, won, the money would be divided equally among the people who did pay (essentially a refund). Just a thought.
