Fantasy Football... is there an ATOT league starting?

I'll start another free one again if no one else does. I don't like being the comish though, like a billion different options to choose when starting a league.
 
I started a league last year via ESPN's Fantasy Football message boards. It's a 10 team league standard scoring standard everything, no PPR, no auction, just normal shit.

I spammed about it on the msg boards and 5 strangers joined. I also have 4 real life people (sister, friends) as part of the league. The league is $30 and everyone paid via LeagueSafe, and it worked out splendid! No problems, everyone paid, even the strangers....

Anyway, 3 of them aren't coming back so I have 3 spots available. I prefer people who are active and know football fairly well. One of the strangers joined, paid, and never managed his team much...don't really want that.

Anyway if you're interested let me know. The draft is Monday September 5th at 7PM Eastern. I have 3 spots available.

I think last year's settings/rules plus FAAB would be satisfactory? I can't remember disliking anything. Oh, but how about we get rid of kickers? They are useless and all luck

I think this is the one I was a part of last year, was it called ATOT FF?

I would like to do this one again, as I prefer ESPN to Yahoo because I play my other leagues on ESPN

Doesn't having playoffs in fantasy football make the regular season somewhat meaningless? I don't have an opinion on it I'm just wondering. Guessing most leagues probably go into the playoffs.
 
If help is needed with running the league(s) here, I am more than willing to assist.

Are we going to decide on dates/times/rules soon? Separate threads with voting maybe?

We should get the ball rolling sooner than later. I'd make a new thread but I want someone who will be in charge to have the power to edit the first post. Kt if you wanna step up, or whoever was commissioner last year.

No....the one I started had nothing to do with Anandtech. I started it basically on a whim off the ESPN message boards and a few real life friends joined. Worked out great.
 
I'd definitely play. I used Yahoo last year and thought it was good, but I haven't used anything else to compare it to.
 
I'm down for a money league too. Never did auction, but figure it'd be nice to try. If we get enough people, we can probably start two leagues.
 
I have one more spot in my 10 team ESPN standard league. If I drum up enough interest I'll increase the size to 12 teams.
