Fantasy FB Trade

Dante Culpepper has been my bread and butter (obviously).
Should i trade him for McNabb, Moss and Quintin Griffin??

depends on who else you have on your team. Quentin griffin sucks, he won't play another game as long as droughns is tearing it up.

nope.

1. Since Droughns has been rolling in Denver, Griffin doesn't (and wont) touch the ball.

2. Moss, since his injury last week, won't get too many balls next week. The rest of the season will be productive for him, but he's always got 2 or 3 d-backs on him at once. That gives Culpepper a ton of other targets. That's why he's throwing 5 TD's a game.

McNabb is good, but Culpepper is the lone reason I've won all of my games (especially in the last two weeks). Don't do it.

Yeah, but laws of averages state that Cullpepper will come down to earth. Plus let's do simple math - Moss is catching around 1-2 TD a week and gaining 100+ yards a game. Depending on your scoring system, that's about 16-20 points. Is Cullpepper that much better than McNabb? I don't think so.

See who other than Griffin he's willing to give you. Another week of 100+ yds rushing for Droughns and Griffin will be FA fodder.

He says i can have Brian Westbrook instead of Griffin. Its getting sweetter and i am thinking about trading. I know moss won't play this week, but it is worth bet hedging.

I would do that, definitely.

Post the rest of your team plus your setup (example: 1 qb, 2rb, etc.). Also posting the scoring system (if different from the default system) would help in deciding.

What's the default system.

I consider basic scoring default since that is what the league i'm in has used since the beginning. Default might be the combinational method for others.

Culpepper, in five played games, has 1766 yards and 18 TD's. Last year, he threw 9 MORE Touchdowns then McNabb for the season. Moss will be a factor, but nowhere near to the extent that he was last year becasuse of double and triple coverage on him. That frees up other weapons in the Viks offense.

2003:

Culpepper : 3479 passing yards, 25 TD's, 422 rushing yards.
McNabb : 3216 passing yards, 16 TD's, 355 rushing yards.

In FF, I DO.

F*CK NO!!!

Do not give up Cullpepper, Griffin is worthless and Moss is injured.

This will kill your season, Cullpepper will continue to dominate. I considered a similiar trade, early in the season for Brady, Moss and E. James and did not do it.. When I did the math I realized that losing Cullpepper would have caused me to lose two games. As it stands, with his historic run, I am now in first place and will probably win the league with him. The key is to pick up free agents as soon as you see potential, I picked up Drougns at halftime of his first game starting, always pick up the D playing Miami 1 week ahead of time, and look for players that get you points without having to complete a trade.

normal default (i believe):
1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def

passing: 50 yards=1 point, TD=6, INT=-2
rushing: 20 yards=1 point, TD=6, FUMB=-2
receiving: 20 yards=1 point, TD=6, FUMB=-2

It depends who your other RBs are. Westbrook is a decent back, and if he provides a decent upgrade on who you're starting now, then do it. But if you already have a stud RB and another solid guy, then don't do it.

typical yahoo FF rules. Only differnence is that we have an extra WR/RB slot. (so, 2: RB, WR & 1: QB, TE, K, DEF + 1 WR/RB)

See, i'd call that combination. But it all depends on the person.

Since you start 3 RB usually in this situation it might be worth it, but we need to know the rest of your team to see if it helps you

It depends on the rest of your lineup. In most cases, I'd do it.

I would do it if you're are hurting at WR's. I wouldn't if your WR's are decent.

take it and run before the guy comes to his senses.

what do you guys think of this trade:

I give Derrick Mason and Michael Bennett (who probably just lost his starting job)

I get Mushin Muhammed (meh... whatever) and Fred Taylor (who I need for the next 2 weeks to fill in for Barlow and McAllister)

I'd do it I think. Taylor should be a better every week starter than Barlow, who has failed to impress me much. I'm not a huge fan of Mushin though.

I dont really think I would take that trade. I would keep Dante, any points Moss is going to get dante will get some too fro tossing him the ball. I'm not a big McNabb fan anyway.
