Donaldson - Thomas Covenant, Mordant's Need

I also liked that series and hated to see it end.

Since that's two series, I can't tell which one you are talking about. I'm guessing Mordant's Need since he's in the middle of writing more Covenant books. 🙂

Terry Brooks Shannara series is a light read.
Sword of Shannara

RA Salvatore is great, classic, but very light reading also.

Dang, I've been around a long time. Read the Thomas Covenant series in 1987'ish. I've read most of the ones suggested and they're worth a try. +1 Brent Weeks.

Both but thanks to your post I see there are more out. I read the first two Covenant series and Mordant's needs with the Covenant being my favorite of the two. That was all he had written when I moved on now I see he has written The Last Chronicles so looks like I have some catching up to do😉
