fans + psu

I'll be getting the case DX-01BD with the GA-8IHXP motherboard installed in it. I was just wondering what fans would be best for this and what PSU (getting enermax, but unsure about the voltage and the specs of it..), not sure about the heatsink either, don't even know what it does or if it comes free with anything..

The system will consist of gf4 ti video card, wd 80gb hdd, p4 2.4ghz, external modem, plextor cd-rw (44x24x44), printer, monitor etc

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

retail p4 radiator should be fine. the two fans that come with it should be fine as well. i like antec true power PSUs but enermax is good too.

My Enermax EG465P-VE is great. It has an external manual speed control which is very helpful in quieting the new loud multi-fan cases. (at 3000 rpm, it was Very loud, at 2300 rpm it is Very quiet)

I'm also replacing the stock fans with Vantec Whisper 2010 rpm fans. Watch your CPU temps carefully for a while if you do reduce your cooling capacity like this.

So... I shouldn't need any extra fans besides the ones that come with it and heatsink comes with it anyways?

The only thing I would need to buy is the psu?

The amount of active cooling you need depends on your CPU, Mobo, & video card temps primarily. The size and configuration of your case will also have some effect.

There are 2 fans in my PSU, one on my CPU, one on my GeForce, one on my Northbridge, one at the bottom front of my case (80mm), 2 in the middle rear of my case (80mm). The one in bottom front sucks in, the 2 in middle rear blow out.

I'd recommend 2 case fans for starters. How many come included with the case varies.

Some are significantly quieter, yet move the same amount of CFM. I'm installing the Vantec Whisper.
