Fans for my case

As everyone already knows, I have temp problems and don't want to send back the mobo because I don't think the mobo's the problem. I'm thinking of replacing the fans. I have a TT dream (and no, I can't get a new case right now, just bought it, another time). It has two 120mm fans and one side 90mm. My CPU has one of those newer 4 copper pipe heatsink/fans that AMD makes for the optys. At night, when it's cool, I get better temps: CPU in the high 20s low 30s and mobo in the mid to high 30s. But when the day rolls on, I get 41C for the mobo and high 30s for the cpu, and that's just leaving it on for the day. Some of it is the air flow and some of it is probably the accelero x2. What fans should I get? I was told the CPU fan is fine, is that true? Any suggestions. The two main fans run at 1350 rpms and the cpu fan maxes at around 3000. I want quiet but better, faster fans. I pretty much give up on this problem. There is too much flux in my pcprobeII readings. Sometimes the temps are low, and then I come back and hour later and their high again, then low again. BIOS temps read about 5C higher for the cpu but not for the mobo. I saw some people have the same case and their mobo is 22-25C! I wish!

rig noise is ok, could be quieter, but it is very quiet for a gaming rig. I was told those temps are very high (even though I WAS getting 55C mobo temps before I moved my HD to a higher slot and then updated the BIOS). If I want to OC, I thought you needed CPU temps below 40C on full load, and at full load right now, sometimes, when it's hot in the room, I get 40C+ Not all the time, like I said, PCProbeII always changes on me, never consistant. Sometimes on load, 35-38, sometimes 40+ after couple hours of obliv.

Take it as far as it'll go, or as far as you want, and then see if you want to reduce the temps. No point spending money if you don't have to.

As far as it will go huh? Well, just to address my question anyway, what about nexus fans? I hear they are quiet, but are they faster than the thermaltake fans I have? I think I need more airflow.

If I replace all the fans, can I speed them up? Why are they limited to 1380rpm max for front and back? why 3000rpm for cpu fan?

No. For any given fan size, airflow is generally proportional to fan speed.

That's a function of the motor design. You can make them spin faster by feeding them more than 12V, but I wouldn't.

Anyone here know the CFM for the two 120mm fans on the Thermaltake Tsunami? They max at 1280 and are not pushing enough air through my case at all.

cut out the mesh that guards the fans. that will maximize the airflow on those fans. and don't tell me 1350 RPM fans don't push enough air. my Cooler Masters at 1220 RPM is enough to cool mine (i have double 120 mm intakes though).

your fans should be somewhere around 48CFM

So my fans are fine? The Nexus 120mm fans are 36.87 CFM, lower than 48CFM you think the thermaltakes are. But I thought Nexus fans push more air?

Going by the numbers, no. The reason why Nexus fans are so quiet is mainly due to their low speed.

Then again, Thermaltake hasn't always played fair with the numbers.

What about this: KOOLANCE CPU-300-H06. Will this just cool the CPU? How is the mobo affected? Is this safe and better than the AMD 4 pipe heatsink/fan I already have?

Also I noticed an air flow sifference in 'feel' between the front intake and back exhaust. Exhaust fan blows air out pretty good, but I feel very poor air flow for the front intake fan.

I'm thinking for the side:

ThermalTake 92mm Smart Blue LED Fan (A2016)

Maybe Artic Cooling for the Exhaust 120mm, Scythe S-FLEX? SFF21F 120mm Fan for intake. Maybe replace one of these with a Yate Loom? Does the above seem quiet? Good combo?
