I have been waiting for this movie to come out for a few years now. Saw a few trailers at different points that sparked an interest then followed along for all the drama and delays. Apparently it is one of those underdog films that had a cool idea, was ripped apart by corporate movie hierarchy, but then was able to be reworked after a battle with the execs.

I honestly don't know why Film Execs fuck with movies. I very rarely hear positive stories about directors being bullied to changed their work. The end product always sucks and the Director's Cut always kicks ass... If I was a paranoid man, I'd think that they do it just to get you at the theater then force you to retry with the DVD release.
