Hey guys, I just put in my new Northwood 2.8 (upgraded from willamette 1.8), a new heatsink, heatsink fan, and thermal paste. (artic silver). Well the problem started 2 reboots after the install, because normally my power supply fan is at 100% at boot and once it's in windows for half a minute or less it calms down to it's idle, but it stopped doing that it just stays full blast the whole time. I've tried going into my BIOS to look for some options, but there is nothing, I can't even change the voltage or RPM of the fans in the first place. Right now i'm keeping the fans under control with SpeedFan, but I'd really rather have it back the way it was.
