Fan size of Ye Ole Athlon 700 heatsink?

Guy's got an Athlon 700 rig with a noisy CPU fan(s). Guess who gets to replace it. He's pretty sure he's got a stock cooling solution. It sounds like an SECC-type cartridge with stock heatsink and dual fans. Any idea if those fans are 40mm or 50mm???

You could always go in, take that little stick o' wood called a ruler on it, and read the measurement.

Obviously but the thing is 70 miles away and I don't want to make two trips (and I don't at all trust him to open up the case and measure himself). Ah, the misery of the recruited PC repairman.

No worries. I have a feeling there was no standard stock cooling solution from AMD during that time....I think it was up to resellers to decide on the cooling solution especially with fans. Oh well, life goes on.

The fans on every SECC processor that I have owned was 60mm.
