while i was away with a friend my mom went and got me 2 80mm case fans right. wrong . she said the lady at the shop didnt know if they were 80mm. she even measured it and said it was 92mm. she told my mom that should fit. it makes me wonder what kind of idiots the world has. well anyways. is there any way i can get this to fit . my antec case is 80mm. and is there a way without any drilling involved? :D

you can easily put the 92mm fan in the hard drive cage... its a tight fit but the fan will fit with minimal pressure. makes for a great HDD cooler really...

thats assuming your talking about the SX series of cases from antec.

as for the extra 92mm fan.... perhaps a blowhole in the top?

I have the same problem, well kinda,

I have the antec sx1030, and have a bunch of extra 80mm fans, well actually like 2.

I want to put a fan in the hard-drive rack, but if I do how far back must I mount my HardDrive?

the fan takes up a lot of the cage, and having my HD hang into the middle of my case seems kinda weird.

can anybody tell me?

thanks a lot, and help severance too

your right sammy boy,

the fan does take up quite a bit of room in the cage... so the hard drives actually do stick out farther into the case. I had mine this way for awhile, then decided that the fan behind the HDD's wasn't really necessary. I didn't really like having the HDD's hanging out over my IDE connectors on my KT7A-Raid. At most I think it makes the HDD hang out an extra inch to an inch and a half.
