fan question

I just gom my 2 120 mm panflos today from newegg with some grills. i remember readin on some site that said thatthe screws would go through the grill and into the fan and hold it there. my problim is the holes on the grills i have dont line up with the holes on the fans so im cinda wounderin what i shoud do about attachin these things. i planed on havin 1 be a side intake fan and teh other be a blowhole.

THe only thing i can think is that maybe you got the wrong size fan grill maybe?? I thought the sizes were universal.... Got any pics of the stuff you bought?

AFAIK, the holes are standard. dude that's kind of trippy, i'd be interested to see those pix too. I've seen both panaflos and pabsts ones and I didn't really notice any difference. Also I would be interested to know which ones you think are quieter...

EDIT: what's the model # on the panaflow? FBA______?

i just checked it against the pic they have at newegg and its the same number. guess i just got some weird fan grills cause AFAIK 120 is the biggest isnt it?

That's a 12v 92mm fan my friend.

the 09 in the model # = 92mm.

The 120mm model # is FBA12xxxxx

I'm off to a meeting so I can't help much more than that. Just to let you know, newegg screwed up on most of their pictures of Panaflo fans. If you look @ the model # in the pictures it's for the wrong sizes
