I have my system (Dell p3 600, not OC'ed and Diamond TNT2 vid) in a desk with one of those built in spots to hold a tower that has a door on it. It gets pretty toasty in there and was wondering if those fans that plug into the pci slot are worth it. The back of the opening in the desk is pretty much wide open so the fan would blow directly out the back. The dell motherboard (OEM Intel) doesn't have any temp sensors on it, so I can't tell.

Any tips?
 
PCI slot coolers will only cool your case a noticeable amount if you have next to no other fans installed. You can check my site for reviews of several models and how they perform.
