Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer. This thread is closed! :D

Newegg has them, SVC has them, and if you are lucky, xoxide might still have them.

The Artic Cooler VGA silencer or Zalman ZM80A-HP w/ fan are prob. your 2 best bets for cooling down a 9700Pro, the Artic Cooler VGA silencer is the cheaper of the 2 in most cases and has 2 or even posibly 3 versions now but any of them will work on the 9700 Pro, hope this helps... :)

alright, will these physically fit in my shuttle case, remember that my card is right against my casing...

and what are the quietest? dont really need the cooling, im not oc'ing my card or anything. just want some peace and quiet

edit: actually all that is suggested are way too big to fit in my shuttle, i think

do i ahve option of just swapping out the fan for something quieter vs. new heatsink/fan combo

Exactly. The VGA Silencer wont work. Perhaps the Zalman will, but if it even does, it'd be a very tight fit

I use the Zalman heatpipe cooler. Sure it's gigantic, but I overclocked 40mhz so far without artifacts and my system temperatures haven't changed either. I use it without the added fan as the added fan will block my cases window fan from properly ventilating that sector of the system.
