Fan info for the Super-Flower SF-201T Case?

Anybody know what the specs for the Case Fans on the Directron Black Super-Flower SF-201T are?

They certainly don't seem to be very powerfull....I almost can't tell they are putting out anything!

I can't tell what kind of fans they are....they only say Super Flower on them.

I have searched long and hard for info on the fan. Like you, I have found there is not much puff for the huffing they do. Currently I am looking into replacing the front two on my 5 fan Super Flower 301S case. On this case there are two fans sucking in thru a filter and 5 exhaust fans blowing out (3 Super Flower case fans - 1 top & 2 rear and 2 power supply fans in series). I feel there may be a lot of negative pressure inside the case. Perhaps too much. I can only really feel air blowing out from the power supply fans. The 3 case fans blowing out have very little air flow and can barely be felt which would improve slightly when the side cover was off. I also found out that with my side panel removed that the cpu would run 10C/17F degrees cooler. Too much difference for me. Also with the side panel removed I have no trouble feeling air movement at the front 2 case fans. I am guessing that it is from improved unrestricted air flow. Maybe by replacing the two front fans with higher a cfm the negative inside pressure will be less and the the other 5 exhaust fans will have more air to vent resulting in greater air flow. I would keep the front two replaced Super Flower sleeved bearing fans for exhaust fan replacement when required. One other thing I am considering is removing the case fan inside fan grills for the 1-2% better air flow you would get. Going too far huh? LOL. Maybe put a huge filter in the side panel. I am not persuing this option.

I would be interested in quiet high performing 80mm case fans that anyone would recommend. Do not need them to be cool looking.

Side note, other than the cheap low performance case fans and the front panel headphone jack without the motherboard intel audio type of connector, I love the Super Flower 301S case.

I use the Panaflo H1A in both of my systems. They can push about 38CFM on full with a rating of 32dB, but once they are throttled back are very quiet. Set them up with a rheobus and you have all the control you need over CFM/noise!

These fans are also very high quality and cheap! You can get them for $2.95 each at Marlin P. Jones Associates.

Interesting and a good price on the panaflo fans. Have you done any temperature tests and if so what was the results? Do you have a good source for the rheobus in case that is the path I take? Did you replace all of your case fans? I was going to just replace the front two fans first and see what happens. I had thought about using the Enermax UC-8FAB which has a built in 4 speed switch. www.directron.com sells them 2 for $11. I also ordered my case from Directron as Baileybkk had and the order went thru without any problems. I assume Baileybkk figured out as I had that Kingwin sells the Super Flower case under their name for more money.

My "main" system is an Epox 8K5A2 (KT333)/XP1700 "A" at 1879MHz in a Lian-Li PC-65, which has 4-80MM fans. The HS on this system is a Coolermaster HHC-001 with a Titan aluminum 80MM fan (38CFM/28dB). Temps for this system typically run about 25-28C system, 32C idle/40C load for the CPU. Most of the time the exhaust fans (top blowhole/rear) are running on 50%. The 2 front intakes usually run about 75% unless it's a warm day.

The 2nd system is an Epox 8RDA+ (Nforce)/XP1700 "B" at 2205MHz (11x200) in a funky Globalwin aluminum case I won in a contest. HS is an SLK-800a/Panaflo H1A. The cooling on this system is a little more extreme...there's 1-H1A and a Panaflo 120MM L1A (side panel mounted) as intakes, with another H1A as rear exhaust and a 120MM Panaflo L1A top blowhole exhaust. This system runs 20-24C for system temp, 34-37C idle/40C load temp for the CPU. Even with all these fans, this system is very quiet since the fans are usually at 50%.

Have the rheobus setups allows total control over the fan speed for intake/exhaust. They are very reasonable now, usually under $30, and are sold most everywhere. I used the Sunbeam brand, which are available cheaply at SVC.
