Fan Hole size enlarging question?

Hello everyone:

I noticed that a lot of people can mod like 60mm backboard fan mounts to 90mm/120mm, or 3 x 80mm (one on top of each other) to 2 x 120mm fan mounts, how is it done and also, how does one drill the holes for the screws? Thanks.

search google for guides and blowholes and mods. you can buy a hole saw, dremil and slice and drill away. its all the same really.
