Fan controller / wires

A while back I posted about help with overheating and people suggested:

I also bought a x-90 heatsink and used creamique.

I assumed that this was all I need and when I got the controller and fans the wires weren't long enough to reach. Should they have come with longer wires or was I supposed to know to order wires to make either of them useful?

What wires do you suggest?

Well you should of ordered some 3pin fan extensions for your rear fan and some other fans that you would think might now reach. Some fan extensions should have come with the Sunbeam. Dig around in the packaging. My CoolerMaster came with 3 x 2wire and 1 x 3 wire extensions as well as a power extension.

If you have a fry's or compusa nearby they usually have them in stock.
