Fan Controller Question...

will any fan work with a fan controller such as a Vantec Nexus or do you need variable speed fans? Does reducing the power to a regular fan damage it over time if it is not designed as a variable speed fan?

it will work with any fan and shouldn't cause any damage

you should be fine ... never seen a fan not work with a fan controler.
