Fan Clips supplied with SLK-900A

I got my SLK-900A shipped to me along with some fans a few weeks ago and I have to say, Im confused. I was supplied with 3 types of clips. 2 of them are small and irrelevant here... the 3rd was a perfect fit for an 80mm fan so i went ahead and fitted my 80mm fan until my 92mm arrived. I queried the supplier and they said they'd crack open a new SLK-900A and send me some 92mm fan clips from there instead of letting ThermalRight send me some. When these clips arrived, they were the 80mm fan clips.

According to the ThermalRight website, I should be supplied with 92mm fan clips but if the supplier opened an SLK-900A box and took the largest clips out of that box, does that mean that ThermalRight are no longer supplying 92mm clips or is there supposed to be some way i can safely attach my 92mm fan with 80mm clips?

I dont have a digi cam so I cant help with pics. My processor is running at nice temps with my 80mm so I can live with it for a little while but I want my 92mm on as I intended to use that 80mm as a case fan.

Any help would be appreciated.

You only get three sets of clips as seen here.

You just need to reposition the clips to fit the size of fan as seen here.

I would also like to add that the clips used for 92mm fans are tight.

Take your time, and stretch them into place.

This confused me for a few days when I recieved my 900a as well. I was reluctant to "force" the clips into place.

They can and do fit. It just takes a leap of faith, and some patience.

The clips im using now fit snuggly on my 80mm fan.... thats some big stretch and bend to make them fit a 92mm fan.

However, since i have 2 sets... ill try.

Im a young University student, living and working in England. Closest Ive got to military action is Paintballing. Why do you ask?

The clips you got will fit the 92mm. Do not "bend" them. Go to the Thermalright Site and look closely at the colorful pictures. Thaaaaat's right, just take you time now... and you will figure it out. Also, be a nice guy and send those extra clips back to your supplier.
