Fan case filters for Antec 900

The 1200 has filters on on he front bezel apparently, but the 900 does not. Is there a place to purchase filters that would fit the 900? I have searched various websites and have come up empty. If you know of anything like this, please provide some linkage if possible.

Thanks alot

I wouldn't use them. They restrict air flow, and a bit of dust isn't going to hurt your machine anyway. It's a pain to have to keep cleaning them as well.

This is one of the few negatives of the 900. There is is no where to place a filter in the front fan modules except right behind the front mesh in front of the fan. You have to disassemble the modules to do this. I cut filters to fit from a sheet of foam air conditioner filter I got at Ace Hardware for a couple of bucks. The downside to this is the only way to clean them is to vacuum them through the mesh, unless you want to take the modules apart again.

A lot of these cases aren't really "designed" by any type of engineer. Even a first-year drafting student wouldn't make some of the mistaken choices they do. Many of the add-on HDD cages have no filter and of those that do, no effort is made to make the filter cleaning easy - it's just stupid. I try to allow extra points for enlightened design in my reviews.
. Compucase cases used to have a filter frame that slid out thru the bottom of the bezel, but that means you'd have to pick the case up off the floor or tip it back significantly to pull the filter. I'd have only given extra points for having the filter come out thru the side of the bezel. But at least they made some effort re. the filter.
. I also use that foam AC filter material for replacements and for places that don't have a filter but need one. I use the "hooks" part of self-stick Velcro to hold them in place.

Thanks for the input guys! I also think it is very stupid and lazy to have that mesh front and no filters. They put filters on the 1200, why not the 900? Cheap bastards. oh well.

I have a Cooler Master Centurion of some sort, and it has filters on the front mesh. It is a pain to get them out and clean them, but it is worth it to help keep dust out and temps low.
