Only positive tidbit on fanboys of all sorts I've ever read. Interesting read, especially coming from Omid Rahmat, who was apologizing without taking any blame for his ridiculous AMD-bashing article of a week ago here.

Fanboys?and you know who you are?listen up: don't be shy. Rather than trying to deny your allegiance, celebrate it. If something isn't fact, don't bother passing it off as such. Your opinions may just be far more valuable. Either way, whatever you say will be scrutinized by fanboys on the opposing side, and that's the beauty of it.

I would only classify myself as a Nike fanboy. I don't consider myself one in terms of any computer hardware, however I do prefer AMD and nVidia, but not to the point where I would ONLY consider them when making a purchase. (I would like to give a 1.6a/1.8a a try sometime, however I don't have the need for a second high end system)

Yeah, I tried ordering once from this OCZNIKE place and they ended up sending me Reebok.

I'm an LP (as in vinyl record) fanboy. LPs sound WAY more like real music than CDs (read: digital) do. If they're cleaned and cared for properly they don't have the "ticks and pops' and surface noise that digital fanboys always complain about.

On the computer front the closest thing I am is an Intel and Powerquest Drive Image Fanboy.

I'm a floppydrivesmustdie fanboy. I hate floppies. they ruin my life. they are an eyesore in my system and makes it heavier to carry around! :| grrrr.
