so I just got a new heater core and it's to osmall for 2 120mm fans, so I'm wonder if you guys have seen a bigger fan out there.

i rather not use 2 92mm fans if i don't have to.

Are you looking for quietness or any other particulars?

sorry, yea, quietmness is a must, but also want some power too. i was gonna use a fan controller but i don't even know if they make 12v fans that are bigger than 120mm. gonna hit up some surplus shop tomorrow. just wanted to see if anyone else out there is using a huge fan.

Once upon a time there were these dangerous-looking Comair fans and you might be able to dredge one up, but my take is that a 120mm Panaflo L1A, moving around 60cfm, ought to get you to the point of decreasing returns without a problem. But you knew that already. ;)

Aha... go to http://www.digikey.com and search for "172mm fan" or "150mm fan" and you might get some leads. But at a minimum of ~120cfm, I can't envision them being quiet :Q
