Are there any sites that collect data on fans that validate or disprove what the manufacturer says? Fans produce the most noise in a PC, and as I understand it, there can be a difference between what a manufacterer will say a fan will do, and what it actually does.

Also: Any favorite fans/brands? (with sizes please)
 
This isn't current up to the minuet, twinkling LED info but it is good.

Welcome to our forums aboutblank. Stick around there are some decent folk here.
Some, like me are not that concerned about noise, 32dB is livable.
Others are at their wits end to get noise levels down to 17dB.
We all have something to offer but it's your call on what you want/need.

If you brouse through the titles of the last 100 posts in this forum you will find
much info you need has been worked pretty hard as of late.
