Fan acting up

There's this CPU fan that would work at regular 4500+ speeds for 10 ten hours or more, and than would suddenly drop down to below 2000.
Sometimes the computer needs to to be shut down, and then the fan goes back to normal speed.

Is it slowly failing ?


Any tips would be appreciated.

Don't play games with your CPU...replace the CPU fan ASAP

Either that, or be like me and put it off until the CPU burns up,
