Family Guy

I'm watching the new episode right now. It BLOWS. Its just straight annoying. This radio thing has to stop.

There were two funny parts and that was it.

"That one felt like my dad."

🙂

But yeah, all in all, the episode was pretty bad. And that radio bit was terrible.

Radio bit got annoying REAL quick.

Though I can see where they're coming from because I hear the same crap from the local stations here.

Family Guy has always done that. "Extended gags" that are mildly amusing and just get OLD. Its getting worse with time too - I think the problem is that the general storyline in Family Guy aren't that great, its the random crap that makes the show so funny, and they can only come up with so many random sequences that are still funny.

Just another reason why while Family Guy might be hilarious at its best, it will never top the Simpsons...

I dunno, some of the earlier episodes had a good storyline and were funny. Deep south ftw!

Don't get me wrong I love Family Guy, I just don't think its style lends itself to a long, extended run. They're already wearing themselves thin and this is what, season 4 or 5? at least the Simpsons went anywhere from 8-12 (depending on who you talk to) before it started going south.

I agree with the radio bit. A bit overdone. The War at Home was freakin hilarious though. The more I see that show, the more I like it. Michael Rappaport is awesome.

I watched the first 15 minutes of it and I just couldn't stand watching anymore. I have always thought that show was pretty bad and this past season has really reminded me of that.

This morning I was listening to the radio as I drove to work as usual. I kind of chuckled. The bit did get annoying after a while though on Family Guy.
