Family Guy last night ...

purbeast0

No Lifer
It was one of those ones that brought that edge back and went to some classics as well. The chicken was back last night, and it was a hilarious fight again. There were quite a few jokes last night and references that really made me laugh.

I hadn't seen one ina while because of the sopranos, but I managed to watch it last night and was glad i did.

I have to assume Peter spent the whole evening making love to a 360, and heaping puerile scorn on a PS3, to get such praise from j00?

😉

I enjoyed the way the rich kids talked.

And any episode with both the child-molesting old man and the gay guy are awesome in my book.

I thought it was pretty good. I really liked the end of the chicken fight, but wish the chicken didn't open his eye again.

so you are into child-molesters and gay guys, is there something we should, or shouldn't know about you?

heh it was pretty funny when Stewie asked the navy recruiter guy if they offered a preschool program after he heard about all of the men he's be around.

How about the signing of the declaration of independence?
While taking attendance:
"John Penisfoot?"
"It's Hancock now."

haha

man, is season 5 on DVD yet? i've watched up to all of season 4.

Herbert (the old man) is the best character ever.

But the fight with the chicken, while pretty funny for a bit, lasted SO long (literally 6+ minutes) that it got kinda old. All it said to me was, we don't have enough material for a full episode, so stick this filler in there for 1/3 of the running time.

Anyone see the South Park where it was revealed that Family Guy was written by manatees picking completely random "idea balls"? That's what this was to me. 🙂

I agree. I never really liked the Chicken Fights b/c it doesn't have to do with the story and it just wastes so much time. I do like the stuff like when Peter hurts his shin and does "ssssssss aaaaahhhhhh" for like 30 seconds. Or when Stewie rips on Brian's new book "you working on that book, got a main character and a plot line....". But the chicken fight goes on too long.

LMAO @ Stewie playing the tuba behind fat guys...

OMG i was seriously rolling on the floor. I rewinded and watched that scene like 3 times.

Yeah, easily the best part. I was laughing already as the fat guy kept saying stuff, but when he fell down, and Stewie said: "That'll be $60" I freaking lost it.

"Are we there yet"
"no"
"are we there yet"
"you know what, if you don't shut up i'll turn this boat around"
"ok, sounds good, that'd teach us a lesson"
"ok, i'm doing it i'm turni---, WAIT A SECOND"

the chicken fights are all parodies of various action movies, i dont understand how you cant like them 🙂

I liked them for maybe 2 of the 6 minutes. But after it takes up 1/3 of an episode, it's just too long for me. 😱

And I will say the orphan thing was freaking hilarious.
