Family Guy has been REVIVED!!!

Just spoke to a FOX representative who confirmed it... Family Guy will be back on the air as of Winter 2005. 😀

We received a few script pages from them as a sampler... one funny excerpt:

CHINESE MAN #1 (Chinese with subtitles): Why are we doing this? This isn't even the Chinese New Year.

CHINESE MAN #2 (Chinese with subtitles): Do you want to be the dragon's ass? 'cause I will make you the dragon's ass.

Yay for Family Guy! 🙂

Next winter (2005), unfortunately. Right now, they're working on producing new episodes. But you can twiddle your thumbs in excitement and anticipation for a whole year! 😀

I think Seth went this route because with a cable channel they aren't subject to the same FCC restrictions that a broadcast channel is. (And because AS brought Family Guy back) This way he can make whatever his twisted little heart desires for the most part, air it on CN, and if Fox wants to air it then it's up to them to censor it. Seth no longer has to say "we can't do that". Well, at least not as much.

He's also currently hosting the "Best Of Family Guy", his favorite episodes, all this week. Last night was "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein". I'll try dig up the link where it says AS will get the new episodes first.
